Rheinland Astilbe

The Astilbe `Rheinland', Astilbe japonica, has wonderful clear pink flowers with mid green foliage changing to green in the spring. The flowers contrast wonderfully with the glossy foliage. Astilbe `Rheinland' blooms in mid summer and is 24" tall and a plant width of 18". Do not allow Astilbe `Rheinland' to dry out. Astilbe can be used as cut flowers, perennial borders or shade gardens with Hosta's and Ferns. Astilbe is considered to be deer resistant and will attract hummingbirds. (Astilbe japonica)
