Formal Garden Lake Como Tapestry (H 64" x W 40" inches)
This Tapestry woven in Italy is adapted from a painting by Francois Boucher. An accomplished artist during the 18th Century. Boucher had many of his paintings woven into tapestries during the Renaissance. The columns with the climbing flowers, along with the arches and garden, which is located in northeastern Italy. Jacquard woven with a tight fine stitch, close to the famous weaving of the "Manufacture des Gobelins". 6" leaf border #5 sewed on fully lined and finished with sleeve pocket on back to accept the rod. Comes with signed Certificate of Authenticity on back. Origin Weave: Woven in Italy from cotton. Size: H 64" x W 40" inches (H 5' 3" x W 3' 3" feet).
