Designed specifically to meet the requirements of Ed Viesturs for his ascent of Nanga Parbat in spring of 2003. Ed wanted a rugged pack that was as light as possible, yet able to carry massive loads up to base camps. Ed requested a lid that clamped down like a claw to handle oversized loads, so we created a unique five-point lid for maximum control. For summit attempts, the lid converts into a daypack. The Endeavor 8000 Pro has everything Ed needs in a pack and nothing he doesnt.
